I happened to discover this restaurant and was completely impressed by their sashimi platter – the tuna belly was melt-in-your-mouth, the sweet shrimp was sweet and full of flavor, and it was absolutely fresh. The sushi chef’s skills were professional, and the ratio of the vinegar rice he made was perfect. The service was also very attentive, and they would patiently recommend seasonal ingredients. It has become a place I visit every week!

It’s very difficult to find such a genuine Japanese restaurant in Middleton. I especially recommend their lunch set meal: the teriyaki salmon set is generous in portion, with plenty of side dishes, and the miso soup is also very flavorful. The price is more affordable compared to other restaurants in the city, but the quality is not compromised at all. The waiters are always smiling, and the meal is extremely satisfying!

I invited a colleague from Osaka to come for a meal. The sushi rolls and eel rice at his place were actually praised as “very similar to the local taste”! The sea urchin was fresh and had no fishy smell. The tempura was crispy without being greasy. The environment was quiet and not noisy, making it suitable for a casual gathering with friends. The only minor suggestion is to add more options of sake.
